David Eikelkamp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 10 minutes into the match, Niculae Miclescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niculae Miclescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. ABK Black Warriors73's Angelo Baciadonne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 14th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dan Burdulea during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th minute, one of ABK Black Warriors73:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ABK Black Warriors73. The referee gave Netherlands a penalty, 18 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ABK Black Warriors73's Angelo Baciadonne. 1-1. Angelo Baciadonne came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Gijsbert ter Kruimer scored 1-3 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Baciadonne, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 32 minutes into the match, ABK Black Warriors73's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Angelo Baciadonne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dé Čáp in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Eikelkamp in the 35th minute of play forced ABK Black Warriors73's goalkeeper Angelo Baciadonne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Dé Čáp tried to sneak it across the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angelo Baciadonne. ABK Black Warriors73's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wim Wilmes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Angelo Baciadonne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The ABK Black Warriors73 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Netherlands were winning 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert ter Kruimer to make the kick off. Angelo Baciadonne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 52nd minute of play. In the 52nd match minute, ABK Black Warriors73 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Burdulea to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, ABK Black Warriors73's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Angelo Baciadonne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugen Cernat hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Angelo Baciadonne made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wim Wilmes in the 60th minute. After 61 played minutes ABK Black Warriors73 got a freekick which was hit by Niculae Miclescu. Gustaaf Groeneveldt had several of the ABK Black Warriors73's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 62 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-5 score and a disappointed Angelo Baciadonne as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Netherlands's Lars Meesters in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ABK Black Warriors73's goalie prevented a goal. 68 minutes into the match, ABK Black Warriors73's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Angelo Baciadonne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kees Mooiweer kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Wim Wilmes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Baciadonne was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. Ilie Dumitrescu's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ilie Dumitrescu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ABK Black Warriors73 getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ilie Dumitrescu hit a great ball. If Dé Čáp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 80th minute, Virgil Stănoiu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnout Reekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Baciadonne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's Angelo Baciadonne threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lars Meesters, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with Angelo Baciadonne in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niculae Miclescu in the 95th minute of play. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Virgil Stănoiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ABK Black Warriors73.
