Lars Blom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Peletier in the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, AFC Eskilstuna's goal looked a bit too open when Camille Baume came free, but Lars Blom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AFC Eskilstuna's Sigvard Mellbad quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jean Bombelles, made in the 23rd minute of the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elliot Termander made a kick off. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elliot Termander in the 53rd minute of the match. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the game, Alexis Bruneau threw the ball into play from the sideline. AFC Eskilstuna's Ian Malm quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ian Malm during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 86 played minutes AFC Eskilstuna got a freekick which was hit by Ian Malm. In the 90th minute, Elliot Termander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, AFC Eskilstuna's Sigvard Mellbad got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Lars Blom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Peletier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The AFC Eskilstuna fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. France were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
