Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) André Luís Best took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maxime Durand. Maxime Durand dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A collision led to Atlético Mineiro getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Flávio Paraense hit a great ball. David Barbier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute, Alexis Bruneau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maxence Durand's late challenge caught a Atlético Mineiro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maxence Durand helped the player get up and apologised. Maxime Durand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomé Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 14 minutes into the game, when Maxence Durand put in a rough tackle. Maxime Durand had in the 15thth minute some difficulties stopping Tomé Brasil's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 17th minute, Camille Baume ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fynn John was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 19th match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexis Bruneau to maneuver through the defense. After 23 played minutes Atlético Mineiro got a freekick which was hit by Long Samast. Remy Dupuy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fynn John having to make a save. Fynn John showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Chapuis in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 39th minute, André Luís Best ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maxime Durand was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Fynn John didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Camille Baume went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Atlético Mineiro's Waclaw Olchowy got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Peletier to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game André Luís Best who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but France's Maxime Durand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner ended in André Luís Best almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but France's Maxime Durand did a great save. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Benê Rodrigues sped through France's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maxime Durand. Fynn John showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remy Dupuy in the 64th minute of the match. Fynn John made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camille Baume in the 66th minute of play. After 67 minutes of play, Atlético Mineiro's Benê Rodrigues made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maxime Durand was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maxime Durand didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Luís Best went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. In the 76th minute, Long Samast hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th match minute, Atlético Mineiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Long Samast to maneuver through the defense. After 79 minutes, André Luís Best made it 6-2 with a short kick to the right side. France's Maxime Durand tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Atlético Mineiro booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Barbier didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Remy Dupuy hit a great ball. Atlético Mineiro's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
