After a rather tough play, Switzerland's Timo Siegmund got a free kick in the 90th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Switzerland's Jacinto Maurer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Tepedino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hias Nüssli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Pena, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the match was over Switzerland could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fluminense di Parma throughout the match.
