The audience thought a goal was coming when Wiktor Dropinski got free with Casper Claes in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Quiroga in the 24th minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavel Romanescu having to interfere. Nigel Devos kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. FC Pegasas Siauliai's Pavel Romanescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Pedrão Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FC Pegasas Siauliai booed when Belgium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sander Dermaut didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute Artemio Quiroga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Pegasas Siauliai's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Miromir Bilicki in the 43rd minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wiktor Dropinski was the one to do the kick off. Simon Sabbe hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miltos Kotsovolos in the 63rd minute of the match. When Pedrão Santos fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Pegasas Siauliai's protests and gave Pedrão Santos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Pegasas Siauliai getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Pedrão Santos hit a great ball. Ernestas Alvinskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Claes having to interfere. With a little luck, FC Pegasas Siauliai's Pavel Romanescu got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pavel Romanescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yves Dervaux in the 79th minute. The audience was convinced that Edward Vanderstraeten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pavel Romanescu was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Miltos Kotsovolos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wiktor Dropinski might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Casper Claes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wiktor Dropinski ran back to his position shaking his head. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiktor Dropinski in the 88th minute of play. FC Pegasas Siauliai's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
