Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Adam Olaru started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Agustín Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rasvan Cristescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. In the 5th minute Adam Olaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustín Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustín Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Olaru in the 10th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Los Trip's goal looked a bit too open when Costica Vladimiri came free, but Agustín Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Los Trip's Bruno Capello sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carol Stinga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Los Trip's goal looked a bit too open when Rasvan Cristescu came free, but Agustín Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Rasvan Cristescu put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Agustín Rossi. If Bruno Capello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Costica Vladimiri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Agustín Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agustín Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Olaru in the 32nd minute of play. Adam Olaru scored 0-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Agustín Rossi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Romania's goalkeeper Carol Stinga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 40th minute of the match Los Trip got a corner. Romania's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. José Augusto Peres ran over to the corner to take the kick. José Augusto Peres made a great header on Los Trip's corner, it was just that Romania's Carol Stinga managed to reach the ball for a save. Zeledon Rumaldo kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. José Augusto Peres hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Trip's goalkeeper Agustín Rossi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Agustín Rossi came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Romania's Alex Serban. But to his dismay, Alex Serban quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruno Capello to make the kick off. Romania's Anton Stinga was substituted for Adam Olaru. Rasvan Cristescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Agustín Rossi made a huge save. José Augusto Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romania's Octavian Vaduva was substituted for Costica Vladimiri. Los Trip made a substitution. Luís Fernando Calderón De La Barca replaced Bruno Capello. In the 71st minute Anton Stinga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustín Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustín Rossi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Octavian Vaduva in the 78th minute. Los Trip's Agustín Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rasvan Cristescu in the 80th minute of play. After some careless play in the Romania defense, Luís Fernando Calderón De La Barca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carol Stinga. The Romania fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carol Stinga should have stopped the shot. In the 90th minute Octavian Vaduva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustín Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romania were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Los Trip's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sanda Cutov took the corner. The audience thought a goal was coming when Octavian Vaduva got free with Agustín Rossi in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
