Baldomero Dubardo's late challenge caught a Savage Hippo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baldomero Dubardo helped the player get up and apologised. Vakaris Daujotas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Nove Unax made a huge save. Bengt-Arne Askstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacharias Iosifakis in the 17th minute of play. When Edwin Grabert came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Savage Hippo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edwin Grabert couldn't finish the play. A Veces Mas Es Menos's Nove Unax played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saulius Pilipavičius in the 32nd minute of play. In the 40th match minute, A Veces Mas Es Menos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Tascon to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Dubardo in the 44th minute of play forced Savage Hippo's goalkeeper Bengt-Arne Askstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edwin Grabert scored 1-0 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nove Unax, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zacharias Iosifakis was the one to do the kick off. Nove Unax took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saulius Pilipavičius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Savage Hippo were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after A Veces Mas Es Menos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Martynas Jaras took the corner. The corner led Savage Hippo's Edwin Grabert to fire away a dangerous shot which Nove Unax despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Nove Unax made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Grabert in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Paolo-César Maldini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A Veces Mas Es Menos made a substitution. Jacobo Winograd replaced Baldomero Dubardo. A Veces Mas Es Menos's Ermegildo Rolado was substituted for Zacharias Iosifakis. Paolo-César Maldini kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind A Veces Mas Es Menos's goalkeeper Nove Unax, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edwin Grabert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Nove Unax tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saulius Pilipavičius scored 2-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nove Unax, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Edwin Grabert sped through A Veces Mas Es Menos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nove Unax. In the 81st minute Ermegildo Rolado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nove Unax came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Savage Hippo's Saulius Pilipavičius. But to his dismay, Saulius Pilipavičius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Nove Unax showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Grabert in the 87th minute of the match. Ermegildo Rolado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt made a huge save. When Vakaris Daujotas came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Savage Hippo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vakaris Daujotas couldn't finish the play. Lucas Eron charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Eron the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th minute, Lucas Eron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
