Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Slava Ukraini's Dmytro Novak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Takacs Tibor in the 20th minute of play. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marius Niculae in the 21st minute. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Dmytro Novak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Rysan in the 29th minute of play. Yosif Bakrachev struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Dmytro Novak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 35th minute of the match. Marius Niculae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Slava Ukraini's Rodion Orel was substituted for Stepan Tovkatskiy. The wind increased when Rodion Orel made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Slava Ukraini getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Taras Vonsyk hit a great ball. Antal Valentin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dmytro Novak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. The Hungary fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Hungary's Antal Valentin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Slava Ukraini made a substitution. Amauri da Costa replaced Vyacheslav Makhnovskyi. Vladimiro Lordi kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. The long shot by Antal Valentin in the 68th minute really tested Dmytro Novak's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Major Barna was extremely unlucky when he, in the 69th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Slava Ukraini's Andriy Palyanytsya was substituted for Vladimiro Lordi. Dmytro Novak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Balazs Lajos in the 73rd minute. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andriy Palyanytsya hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, Yosif Bakrachev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yosif Bakrachev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dmytro Novak having to interfere. Takacs Tibor kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Slava Ukraini fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
