The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maxime Durand made a fantastic save in the 2nd minute, when Göran Unesson sent off a good shot on target. Henry Robiquet's late challenge caught a Team Rocco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. France:s Maxime Durand showed great skill when he stopped Göran Unesson:s penalty. Alexis Bruneau's late challenge caught a Team Rocco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. After a rather tough play, France's Alexis Bruneau got a free kick in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the match, France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Göran Unesson. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maxime Durand was a little too slow when Göran Unesson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. Team Rocco's Sven-Edvin Mårtensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Peletier in the 18th minute of play. Göran Unesson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frank Peletier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Edvin Mårtensson having to interfere. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Lundström in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Team Rocco getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Vincent Olofsson hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Frank Peletier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-Edvin Mårtensson was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Peletier in the 35th minute of play forced Team Rocco's goalkeeper Sven-Edvin Mårtensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Göran Unesson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Team Rocco's supporters rose to their feet, but Göran Unesson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxime Durand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Henry Robiquet hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Göran Unesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maxime Durand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Unesson, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 63 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Unesson came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camille Baume received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camille Baume hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Lundström's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Frank Peletier kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Lundström came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Peletier spun around in front of the goal 74 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Team Rocco's goal. Camille Baume sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camille Baume kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göran Unesson in the 78th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 minutes, Camille Baume mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the France and the Team Rocco players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Joel Lundström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maxime Durand was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Lundström in the 84th minute of play. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Lundström in the 90th minute of play. Team Rocco's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
