In the 5th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but András Tóth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. András Tóth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Eikelkamp in the 6th minute of the match. With his leg Arnout Reekers managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Christian Ashford fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gustaaf Groeneveldt might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over András Tóth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran back to his position shaking his head. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. András Tóth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romário Fenomeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Romário Fenomeno came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Anastasio Tibalt got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but András Tóth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathijn Doctor to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Romário Fenomeno took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Arnout Reekers to make any attempt to save it. 36 minutes into the game, Romário Fenomeno recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arnout Reekers. Romário Fenomeno showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Egbert Nijveldt kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After 46 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. András Tóth was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Romário Fenomeno to strike the kick off in the second half. StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's András Tóth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 from getting a goal against them. StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dionisio Hug took the corner. With a little luck, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's András Tóth got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 62nd minute of play forced StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's goalkeeper András Tóth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that András Tóth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 66 minutes, Delmiro Valente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. Delmiro Valente kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 made a substitution. Fulgencio Itzaina replaced Benedicto Cefero. In the 67th minute, Delmiro Valente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustaaf Groeneveldt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without András Tóth having to make a save. In the 73rd minute, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind András Tóth. András Tóth yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Romelio in the 77th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romário Fenomeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 83rd match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaaf Groeneveldt to maneuver through the defense. András Tóth came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer. But to his dismay, Gijsbert ter Kruimer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 90th minute of play forced StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's goalkeeper András Tóth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 91st minute. Netherlands's Lars Meesters was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but András Tóth in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Salvador Romelio hit a great ball. Netherlands's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
