Mamutes EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gregorio Montez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Magno Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Montez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Kieca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dave Panno in the 32nd minute. Russówek's Gregorio Montez got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Mamutes EC's goal looked a bit too open when Tymoteusz Watarz came free, but Magno Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radomil Golembiewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gregorio Montez to make the kick off.
