The throw-in from Edwin Ahlstedt in the 4th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Les Pionniers de Touraine's Gyuro Tzonkin. Ziemowit Harasimowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Tunström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abraham Beauval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphaël Lallemand in the 18th minute of play. Magne Gunnarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphaël Lallemand in the 20th minute of play. Ziemowit Harasimowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Fagerberg in the 21st minute of play. Per Tunström took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ziemowit Harasimowicz. Ziemowit Harasimowicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henry Fagerberg got free with Ziemowit Harasimowicz in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 36 minutes of play, Les Pionniers de Touraine's Abraham Beauval made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Magne Gunnarsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ziemowit Harasimowicz made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Henry Fagerberg sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Les Pionniers de Touraine's Mickaël Métenier got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Magne Gunnarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Beauval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Per Tunström made a kick off. Mickaël Métenier kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th minute Abraham Beauval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magne Gunnarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute of the game Cuauhtémoc Cardenas made a throw-in which Patryk Kopacz played forward. Les Pionniers de Touraine were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Rönnöfors FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gyuro Tzonkin took the corner. The corner ended in Patryk Kopacz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson did a great save. When Per Tunström came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Rönnöfors FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per Tunström couldn't finish the play.
