Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Henrich Slany made an important save on a dangerous shot by Strong Body in the 19th minute. Henrich Slany took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralph Koopmans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Metod Mlynar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slovakia's supporters rose to their feet, but Metod Mlynar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ralph Koopmans in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henrich Slany saved Slovakia from getting behind. In the 40th minute of the match Heineken Youths got a corner. Slovakia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ralph Koopmans ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Heineken Youths's Ralph Koopmans to fire away a dangerous shot which Henrich Slany despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Metod Mlynar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Big Wall having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralph Koopmans in the 46th minute of play forced Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Pavol Koleno might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Big Wall. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
