Fabio Auer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 67th minute, Sjef de Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th match minute, Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Schneider to maneuver through the defense. The referee ignored Austria's protests and gave Leonhard Maier a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Heineken Youths booed when Austria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonhard Maier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Strong Body might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Auer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Strong Body ran back to his position shaking his head. For all the effort they put into the match, the Austria players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Heineken Youths.
