The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julio Firme during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bashar Khulus charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bashar Khulus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bashar Khulus kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Falah Rashid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Herensuge in the 9th minute of play. A collision led to U21 Lebanon getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Dahir Ilias hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Caballo Negro's zone, Abdul Halim Aban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bonifacio Matxin came out of the goal and Abdul Halim Aban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to U21 Lebanon getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Dahir Ilias hit a great ball. Abel Llorienzo might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Falah Rashid. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abel Llorienzo ran back to his position shaking his head. If Anwar Yasem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 22nd minute Anwar Yasem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Matxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafiq Bahir took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bonifacio Matxin. Caballo Negro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 36th minute, Abdul Halim Aban fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Abdul Halim Aban's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Bonifacio Matxin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Iker Herensuge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Falah Rashid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anwar Yasem stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdul Halim Aban in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bonifacio Matxin saved Caballo Negro from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Muhannad Touffah in the 53rd minute of play forced Caballo Negro's goalkeeper Bonifacio Matxin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bonifacio Matxin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anwar Yasem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artur Van Caelss short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Falah Rashid to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 75th minute Abdul Halim Aban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Matxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th match minute, Caballo Negro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Firme to maneuver through the defense. After 83 minutes U21 Lebanon's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abel Llorienzo who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Caballo Negro's Abel Llorienzo to fire away a dangerous shot which Falah Rashid despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Caballo Negro's Bonifacio Matxin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anwar Yasem in the 86th minute of play. 91 minutes in the game, Abdul Halim Aban dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. U21 Lebanon had won after a very even match.
