Fokke Meijeringh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. De Kasteelheren's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hungary's Vörös Henrik was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fokke Meijeringh in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 11th minute, Vörös Henrik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Major Barna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fokke Meijeringh having to make a save. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Fokke Meijeringh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, De Kasteelheren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdi Vorenkamp to maneuver through the defense. After 34 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Takacs Tibor. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inácio Amaral got free with Fodor Daniel in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fokke Meijeringh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 38th minute of the match. Arif Ensar İsmet kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Inácio Amaral made the kick off in the second half. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fokke Meijeringh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64thth minute of the game Inácio Amaral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harold Rodenboog in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Harold Rodenboog sped through Hungary's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. Inácio Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, De Kasteelheren's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Fokke Meijeringh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bakos Endre to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute Harold Rodenboog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. De Kasteelheren's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hayden Hoebe in the 87th minute. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthony Hillen in the 91st minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdi Vorenkamp came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, De Kasteelheren could leave the field as winners, despite Hungary having more of the ball for most of the match.
