Sandro Galishoff was slow to take the kick. During this time Austria's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Marc Kronecker got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Grzegorz Siekierski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zhang Song Fan got free with Fabio Auer in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute, Hermenegildo Menezes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, Zhang Song Fan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabio Auer, 1-0. In the 36th match minute, Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marvin Harrer to maneuver through the defense. Zhang Song Fan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabio Auer came out and tried to block the shot, but Zhang Song Fan slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 37th minute. Zhang Song Fan might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Auer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zhang Song Fan ran back to his position shaking his head. Fabio Auer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhang Song Fan in the 43rd minute of the match. Fabio Auer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zhang Song Fan's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Zhang Song Fan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabio Auer having to make a save. Zhang Song Fan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Fabio Auer made a huge save. Austria's Fabio Auer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Austria from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romarinho Riquelme made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Austria's goal looked a bit too open when Zhang Song Fan came free, but Fabio Auer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romarinho Riquelme's late challenge caught a Austria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romarinho Riquelme helped the player get up and apologised. AKS Kozienice's Zhang Song Fan got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Austria defense, Zhang Song Fan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Auer. The Austria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Auer should have stopped the shot. 64 minutes into the game, Zhang Song Fan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Fabio Auer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 71 minutes of play, AKS Kozienice's Zhang Song Fan made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Auer was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 73 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Emil Seidler. After a defensive mix-up in Austria's zone, Zhang Song Fan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Auer came out of the goal and Zhang Song Fan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the match, Austria's goal looked a bit too open when Zachariasz Zachemski came free, but Fabio Auer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabio Auer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AKS Kozienice had played much better football throughout.
