Carlos Lampe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Saúl Menem in the 43rd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Saúl Menem to make the kick off. The throw-in from Siricio Liotta in the 52nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Baldomiro Dodorol. Flavio Vittori stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Saúl Menem's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Siricio Liotta made in the 55th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gianpaolo Mascari. Thanks to some nice moves Porziano Marchitelli could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Carlos Lampe however easily saved by the left post. Carlos Lampe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zaccheo Andolina's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Zaccheo Andolina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Valentin Geambașu was substituted for Iago 郭嘉. Carlos Lampe made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Zaccheo Andolina sent off a good shot on target. If Zaccheo Andolina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by César Fonseca in the 70th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zaccheo Andolina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
