Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) FC Schonebeck's Lothar Drinkard started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Lothar Drinkard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. Lance Malliouris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lance Malliouris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lance Malliouris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lothar Drinkard scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fodor Daniel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Schonebeck's Lothar Drinkard slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fodor Daniel. Lance Malliouris made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Lothar Drinkard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lance Malliouris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Antal Valentin made the kick off in the second half. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Ekrem Avşar in the 56th minute of play. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Lothar Drinkard came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the FC Schonebeck fans jumped to their feet. FC Schonebeck's Lance Malliouris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save FC Schonebeck from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lothar Drinkard in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Schonebeck made a substitution. Bengt Persson replaced Anselm Hayer. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lothar Drinkard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Mustafa Ekrem Avşar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. FC Schonebeck's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
