In the 21st minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Daszkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Keld Paulsen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michal Plech got free with Keld Paulsen in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of KS Ogórki booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Nygaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fryderyk Biskupiak took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Keld Paulsen. Denmark's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Denmark's Lars Steen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leszek Cisek, made in the 30th minute of the game. After 34 minutes, Chris Nygaard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Denmark and the KS Ogórki players grew even worse after the yellow card. Chris Nygaard hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Keld Paulsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michal Plech in the 36th minute. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chris Nygaard to strike the kick off in the second half. Denmark's attentive Lars Steen managed to snatch the ball when Konrad Pilsudski made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. Norbert Daszkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertram Svenningsen in the 52nd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Plech came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michal Plech in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keld Paulsen saved Denmark from getting behind. In the 74th minute of the match KS Ogórki got a corner. Denmark's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabian Pasterski ran over to the corner to take the kick. 76 minutes into the game, Konrad Pilsudski threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Lars Steen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When KS Ogórki's Michal Plech in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Denmark's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 83 minutes, Benedicto Delfino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS Ogórki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedicto Delfino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Norbert Daszkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 84th minute of play. If Krzysztof Rzentkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Chris Nygaard was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. KS Ogórki's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
