After some careless play in the HEJA ESLÖV defense, Frank Peletier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Grubb. The HEJA ESLÖV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Grubb should have stopped the shot. The supporters of France booed when HEJA ESLÖV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikael Tidéksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rune Stenman kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Gabriel Grubb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Barbier, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Gabriel Grubb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remy Dupuy in the 28th minute of play. Frank Peletier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute Frank Peletier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Grubb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, France's Frank Peletier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Grubb made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Gabriel Grubb didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Peletier went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience was convinced that Camille Baume's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Grubb was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Frank Peletier came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gabriel Grubb could save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Camille Baume put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Gabriel Grubb. 66 minutes into the match, HEJA ESLÖV's goal looked a bit too open when Camille Baume came free, but Gabriel Grubb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Peletier succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 69th playminute. With a little luck, HEJA ESLÖV's Gabriel Grubb got control of the ball when Frank Peletier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frank Peletier did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Gabriel Grubb 73 minutes into the match. With a little luck, HEJA ESLÖV's Gabriel Grubb got control of the ball when Camille Baume tried to sneak it across the goal line. Camille Baume scored 0-7 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gabriel Grubb, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Henry Robiquet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute of the match, Camille Baume got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gabriel Grubb was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gabriel Grubb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camille Baume in the 87th minute of the match. HEJA ESLÖV's Gabriel Grubb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camille Baume in the 88th minute of play. Gabriel Grubb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Peletier, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute, France's Camille Baume dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. Gabriel Grubb was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but David Barbier showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 94 minute of play.
