A collision led to R.B Leipzig getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ilkay Gündoğan hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ian Grande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute.
