After a defensive mix-up in sirince's zone, Rasko Nestorovski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denizhan Onatkan came out of the goal and Rasko Nestorovski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Serbia's Rasko Nestorovski got a free kick in the 5th minute. Vladeta Jovic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Denizhan Onatkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enginsu Özal in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Enginsu Özal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The sirince fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Yavuz Selim Elmastaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zvezdan Nedeljkovic having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, Serbia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Momir Gisic to maneuver through the defense. Denizhan Onatkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sreten Popovic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Çetin Reca during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Çetin Reca hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. sirince's Enginsu Özal got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anıl Arda Sefik got a throw-in 41 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Doğaner Rebi. 44 minutes into the match, sirince's goal looked a bit too open when Sreten Popovic came free, but Denizhan Onatkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Enginsu Özal managed to get in a good position for a shot. sirince's supporters rose to their feet, but Enginsu Özal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sreten Popovic to make the kick off. Vladeta Jovic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denizhan Onatkan having to interfere. A collision led to sirince getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Polat Uçkan hit a great ball. When Sreten Popovic fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Serbia's protests and gave Sreten Popovic a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Serbia's Sreten Popovic got a free kick in the 56th minute. Momir Gisic's late challenge caught a sirince's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Momir Gisic helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 played minutes Serbia got a freekick which was hit by Momir Gisic. The audience thought a goal was coming when Drasko Rajkovic got free with Denizhan Onatkan in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. sirince's Denizhan Onatkan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save sirince from getting a goal against them. After 79 played minutes Serbia got a freekick which was hit by Borjan Golubovic. Enginsu Özal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zvezdan Nedeljkovic having to interfere. Enginsu Özal ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 91st minute, Enginsu Özal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Borjan Golubovic might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Denizhan Onatkan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Borjan Golubovic ran back to his position shaking his head. After 96 played minutes sirince got a freekick which was hit by Fazıl Hüsnü Argun. sirince's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
