Kyle Cox hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Kyle Cox notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Apocalipse FC's Gianluigi Buffon. Gianluigi Buffon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A well-hit corner resulted in Caelan Hayes heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. A collision led to England getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Cooper Thompson hit a great ball. Apocalipse FC's Marcos Rodrigues shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 41st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Khalid Kennedy but with some difficulty. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcos Rodrigues stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gianluigi Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Cox in the 53rd minute of the match. The Apocalipse FC fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Apocalipse FC's Marcos Rodrigues looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 68th minute, Marcos Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 played minutes Apocalipse FC got a freekick which was hit by Reinaldo Valladares. Kyle Cox recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Apocalipse FC's Gianluigi Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Cox in the 76th minute of play. Khalid Kennedy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Bastos in the 77th minute of the match. Gianluigi Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyle Cox, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 minutes of play, Apocalipse FC's Filipe Bastos made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Khalid Kennedy was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 82 played minutes Apocalipse FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredão Vieira. Gianluigi Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyle Cox, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Apocalipse FC's Gianluigi Buffon got control of the ball when Kyle Cox tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kyle Cox received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Gianluigi Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. England's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
