Miroslaw Gejda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Metod Mlynar, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Slovakia's Metod Mlynar got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Legia Warszawa 【L】's Hugon Prusek managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Daniel Suchy in the 28 minute of the game. In the 29th minute of the game Daniel Suchy made a throw-in which Oliver Holub played forward. Legia Warszawa 【L】's Miroslaw Gejda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Holub in the 32nd minute of play. 36 minutes in the game Florian Pryputnicki did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Zygmunt Kluczyk. Ondrej Biskup made in the 38th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Oliver Holub immediately put the ball in play. The throw-in from Vít Biskup in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Legia Warszawa 【L】's Zygmunt Bugajski. A throw-in in the 41st minute of the game was made by Pavol Koleno with Metod Mlynar as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 42 minutes of play, Slovakia's Metod Mlynar made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miroslaw Gejda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Metod Mlynar made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Metod Mlynar made a precise shot to the right of Miroslaw Gejda. Metod Mlynar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Miroslaw Gejda when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Metod Mlynar got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 66 minutes in the game Vít Biskup did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Pavol Koleno. With a little luck, Legia Warszawa 【L】's Miroslaw Gejda got control of the ball when Metod Mlynar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcin Dres hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match.
