Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 9 minutes into the game, Topsail's Jano Maciel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Casper Claes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A throw-in in the 11th minute of the game was made by Juan Driscoll with Brent Goldsmith as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Bill Carmichael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sander Dermaut in the 24th minute of the match. Jano Maciel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Casper Claes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sander Dermaut kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Topsail's Lorenzo Kellogg shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 30th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Casper Claes but with some difficulty. In the 33rd minute of the match Topsail got a corner. Belgium's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lorenzo Kellogg ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lorenzo Kellogg made a great header on Topsail's corner, it was just that Belgium's Casper Claes managed to reach the ball for a save. Topsail's Bill Carmichael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Topsail's goal looked a bit too open when Yves Dervaux came free, but Bill Carmichael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Juan Driscoll hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Belgium getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Nigel Devos hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ren Fan Yu to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Jano Maciel came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute Ren Fan Yu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Fodor in the 64th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bill Carmichael having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Jano Maciel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casper Claes was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Fodor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute Antal Fodor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Ren Fan Yu came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Topsail getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Antal Fodor hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Topsail's Calvin Diggs got a free kick in the 79th minute. Bill Carmichael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 86 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Siebe Michiels. In the 92nd minute Yves Dervaux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bill Carmichael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ren Fan Yu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Topsail support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
