Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Benvide Lebrija got the match started through his kick off. Denis Peru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 4th minute of the match. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benvide Lebrija in the 14th minute. In the 20th minute, Marijus Abakas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denis Peru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Arnout Reekers was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Lixandro Salgueiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lixandro Salgueiro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 28th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benvide Lebrija, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Denis Peru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feliciano Baumar in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. Uruguay Buceo B.F's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lixandro Salgueiro in the 38th minute. A nice corner shot did that Lixandro Salgueiro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arnout Reekers quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The attack was good, but when Fabio Sazon in the 38th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benvide Lebrija in the 45th minute of the match. After 47 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by David Eikelkamp. A hard shot by Lixandro Salgueiro from long distance, 48 minutes into the match, got Arnout Reekers's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't finish the play. In the 53rd minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Peru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. Wim Wilmes made a great header on Netherlands's corner, it was just that Uruguay Buceo B.F's Denis Peru managed to reach the ball for a save. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Uruguay Buceo B.F's Lucien Van der Goten got a free kick in the 64th minute. Uruguay Buceo B.F's Denis Peru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay Buceo B.F from getting a goal against them. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Baumar in the 66th minute of play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Denis Peru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 73rd minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Peru having to interfere. After 76 minutes of play, Uruguay Buceo B.F's Lixandro Salgueiro made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Netherlands booed when Uruguay Buceo B.F was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pete Sutcliffe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Denis Peru successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 85th minute, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Denis Peru. Denis Peru yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Denis Peru successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 92 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by David Eikelkamp. After 93 played minutes, Uruguay Buceo B.F's Lixandro Salgueiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnout Reekers came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Uruguay Buceo B.F reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with Denis Peru in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Netherlands had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
