Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giorgos Trikoupis in the 3rd minute of play. The Blues's Mira Bobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 11th minute of play. Aytuğ Taşdemir hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute of the match Chris Nygaard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mira Bobo skillfully saved the ball. A hard and well directed shot from Chris Nygaard led 15 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. The Blues's Mira Bobo became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-1. When Mathias Ludvigsen fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Denmark's protests and gave Mathias Ludvigsen a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Mathias Ludvigsen hit a great ball. Denmark's Keld Paulsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Denmark from getting a goal against them. Giorgos Trikoupis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Giorgos Trikoupis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led Denmark's Chris Nygaard to fire away a dangerous shot which Mira Bobo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Giorgos Trikoupis came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the The Blues fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giorgos Trikoupis couldn't finish the play. If Alf Aaker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alf Aaker kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. If Chris Nygaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolas Mechlenborg kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 40th minute of play forced The Blues's goalkeeper Mira Bobo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fillip Horsdam made in the 42nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and André Jay immediately put the ball in play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alf Aaker was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of The Blues booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Ludvigsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chris Nygaard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Blues's Mira Bobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 63rd minute of play. Thorkild Lindekær made in the 65th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Denmark's Theis Winther. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 66th minute of play forced The Blues's goalkeeper Mira Bobo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars Steen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mira Bobo having to interfere. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Blues's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Chris Nygaard was slow to take the kick. During this time Denmark's players had a chance to rest. 74 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when André Hurdle came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, The Blues's Andre Gedsted got a free kick in the 75th minute. Mira Bobo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Chris Nygaard. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Aaker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Denmark booed when The Blues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andre Gedsted didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denmark's Chris Nygaard got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 95 played minutes The Blues got a freekick which was hit by Fillip Horsdam. Denmark were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
