In the 6th minute Su Xu Xi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Van Halen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Su Xu Xi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Van Halen having to interfere. Unione Sportiva's Fernado Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Havier in the 15th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Su Xu Xi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unione Sportiva's supporters rose to their feet, but Su Xu Xi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Van Halen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the match, Вежен's goal looked a bit too open when Christiano Ronaldo came free, but Van Halen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Su Xu Xi in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The Unione Sportiva fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernado Alves should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Вежен's Vidar Ryberg got a free kick in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Su Xu Xi made a kick off. Van Halen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Su Xu Xi in the 58th minute of play. In the 67thth minute of the game Oscar Havier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Unione Sportiva's Fernado Alves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christiano Ronaldo in the 73rd minute of play forced Вежен's goalkeeper Van Halen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Ime Palavos threw the ball into play from the sideline. Van Halen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Su Xu Xi, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Deyan Petrinski kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute of the match Silvinho Arantes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Van Halen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of Вежен were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Unione Sportiva side.
