In the 7th minute, Eleuterio Galo fired away a shot that was totally unreachable for Fabio Auer. The ball ended up just outside the left post, and Santos City's manager could be seen angrily pacing the sidelines. A hard shot 8 in the game by Eleuterio Galo from a close distance when the talented Fabio Auer managed to make a qualified save. Austria's players were relieved. 10 minutes into the game, Caner Timurhan lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Fabio Auer. After 14 minutes, Marc Kronecker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Austria and the Santos City players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th minute, one of Austria:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Austria. Adilson Andrade took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabio Auer. Fabio Auer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The supporters of Austria booed when Santos City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adilson Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Eleuterio Galo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabio Auer, 5-0. Fabio Auer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eleuterio Galo went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Eleuterio Galo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Fabio Auer skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Andrézinho Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Rogelio Aurken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandro Galishoff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Santos City getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Caner Timurhan hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, Eleuterio Galo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Auer. Austria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eleuterio Galo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Gaston Zárate managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santos City's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaston Zárate was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Auer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sandro Galishoff made a kick off. Fabio Auer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Galo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Gaston Zárate sped through Austria's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabio Auer. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eleuterio Galo in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Auer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59th minute, Rafael Riedl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabio Auer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caner Timurhan in the 60th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eleuterio Galo in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Auer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 67 minutes into the game, Santos City's Caner Timurhan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabio Auer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Austria's Fabio Auer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Galo in the 71st minute of play. Fabio Auer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Galo in the 73rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Austria defense, Caner Timurhan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Auer. The Austria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Auer should have stopped the shot. Gaston Zárate took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabio Auer. Fabio Auer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. In the 87th minute, Adilson Andrade ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Auer was frozen by the shot and now it was 14-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Santos City had played much better football throughout.
