The crowd rose to their feet as PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Eric Chițu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Göran Asklöv. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. Göran Asklöv made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aristide Fetea in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Offendahl in the 19th minute of play forced PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Dacian Ghițescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Göran Asklöv had in the 22ndth minute some difficulties stopping Leonard Moarcăș's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexander Blomqvist during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Agge BK getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Alexander Blomqvist hit a great ball. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leonard Moarcăș in the 30th minute. Dacian Ghițescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Josefsson in the 35th minute of play. Göran Asklöv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Golo Phoenix in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Golo Phoenix sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Göran Asklöv narrowly saved just below the crossbar. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leonard Moarcăș in the 44th minute. The corner ended in Leonard Moarcăș almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Agge BK's Göran Asklöv did a great save. Golo Phoenix's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Göran Asklöv read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Ulf Offendahl scored 2-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dacian Ghițescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Golo Phoenix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Göran Asklöv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Agge BK's zone, Golo Phoenix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Göran Asklöv came out of the goal and Golo Phoenix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Calistrat Şerbănescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göran Asklöv having to interfere. A collision led to Agge BK getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Filip Kollberg hit a great ball. Göran Asklöv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Golo Phoenix, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Golo Phoenix in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Göran Asklöv saved Agge BK from getting behind. Göran Asklöv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Golo Phoenix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristide Fetea in the 69th minute of play forced Agge BK's goalkeeper Göran Asklöv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Göran Asklöv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Golo Phoenix, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After 79 minutes, Eric Chițu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca and the Agge BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eric Chițu kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. The supporters of Agge BK booed when PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moise Ţurlău didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agge BK's Göran Asklöv played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristide Fetea in the 83rd minute of play. Conny Myhr received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dacian Ghițescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Conny Myhr slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 85th minute. Agge BK's Göran Asklöv played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Golo Phoenix in the 89th minute of play. Eric Chițu kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Agge BK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
