The referee ignored PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's protests and gave Silver Phoenix a yellow card for diving instead. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Damiano Sisti sped through PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dacian Ghițescu. 8 minutes into the match, Adriano Ottaviani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dacian Ghițescu. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adriano Ottaviani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a rather tough play, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Golo Phoenix got a free kick in the 20th minute. A collision led to Santoryu FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Adriano Ottaviani hit a great ball. Codruț Macaneață struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Armin Giolo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca. Dacian Ghițescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camillo Punta in the 29th minute of the match. Adriano Ottaviani scored 0-3 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dacian Ghițescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 35 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Ottaviani came free, but Dacian Ghițescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Golo Phoenix made a precise shot to the right of Armin Giolo. Santoryu FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Golo Phoenix stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Damiano Sisti came free, but Dacian Ghițescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Dacian Ghițescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damiano Sisti in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca booed when Santoryu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Punta didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damiano Sisti in the 59th minute of play forced PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Dacian Ghițescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armin Giolo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristide Fetea in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Virgil Jupân got a free kick in the 65th minute. Dacian Ghițescu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 66th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alvise Iacobucci. In the 68th match minute, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Strong Phoenix to maneuver through the defense. Santoryu FC's Ercole Battisti shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 69th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dacian Ghițescu but with some difficulty. In the 84th minute, Silver Phoenix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Santoryu FC's Damiano Sisti got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armin Giolo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silver Phoenix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the game, Virgil Jupân was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santoryu FC the free kick. Ercole Battisti took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dacian Ghițescu. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Santoryu FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Alfredo Malvezzi hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Santoryu FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca.
