Terry Kieffer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ali Erdem Yalınç showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Abdulvahit Vecihi kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's Ali Erdem Yalınç slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Terry Kieffer. That made the score 4-1 after 43 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ali Erdem Yalınç to strike the kick off in the second half. Gerd Hilpert's late challenge caught a GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerd Hilpert helped the player get up and apologised. After 73 played minutes GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR got a freekick which was hit by İlyas Ilgınlı. After some careless play in the FC Lëtzebuerg defense, Mustafa Ali Baysu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Terry Kieffer. The FC Lëtzebuerg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Terry Kieffer should have stopped the shot.
