Adam Holmgren kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Jordbro FF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Codruț Macaneață fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jordbro FF's Melker Grönberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radu Cigu in the 12th minute of play. Melker Grönberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radu Cigu, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Radu Cigu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Melker Grönberg. That made the score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. Moise Ţurlău's late challenge caught a Jordbro FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moise Ţurlău helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Jordbro FF booed when PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moise Ţurlău didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Jordbro FF getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Tim Vidman hit a great ball. Melker Grönberg made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Lento Phoenix sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute Radu Cigu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melker Grönberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melker Grönberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radu Cigu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melker Grönberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radu Cigu in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Jordbro FF's goalkeeper Melker Grönberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aristide Fetea. Codruț Macaneață fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melker Grönberg having to interfere. After 35 minutes, Freddie Apelkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jordbro FF and the PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th match minute, Jordbro FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddie Apelkvist to maneuver through the defense. Codruț Macaneață fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melker Grönberg having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adam Holmgren to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Radu Cigu in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melker Grönberg saved Jordbro FF from getting behind. In the 58th match minute, Jordbro FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Holmgren to maneuver through the defense. Jordbro FF were furious when Fredrik Lööf was red carded, 66 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Fredrik Lööf hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. If Codruț Macaneață had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radu Cigu in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melker Grönberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca booed when Jordbro FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddie Apelkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Radu Cigu scored 2-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melker Grönberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 85th minute Codruț Macaneață shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melker Grönberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Lento Phoenix had to leave the field with a concussion. After 88 minutes, Adam Holmgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jordbro FF and the PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 89 played minutes Jordbro FF got a freekick which was hit by Adam Holmgren. Aristide Fetea charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aristide Fetea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jimmy Lindholm kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
