Radu Cigu scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Billie Serneels, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Billie Serneels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristide Fetea in the 11th minute of play. Billie Serneels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcu Tudor, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Costel Gurgui kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Freddy Olemans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Dacian Ghițescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Draconia's Billie Serneels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radu Cigu in the 18th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Jerry Moerman rounded PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Draconia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! Billie Serneels had in the 36thth minute some difficulties stopping Sebastian Culcer's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Sebastian Culcer scored 1-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Billie Serneels, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 43 played minutes FC Draconia got a freekick which was hit by Jerry Moerman. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Sebastian Culcer couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Draconia. Willem Goons recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

51 minutes into the match, FC Draconia's goalkeeper Billie Serneels had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aristide Fetea. Billie Serneels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristide Fetea, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristide Fetea in the 55th minute of play forced FC Draconia's goalkeeper Billie Serneels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Klaus Dhondt struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Dacian Ghițescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Draconia. Cristinel Uncheşelu charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristinel Uncheşelu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leopold Weijnants hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Aristide Fetea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Billie Serneels made a huge save. Dacian Ghițescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klaus Dhondt in the 75th minute of the match. After 77 minutes of play, FC Draconia's Klaus Dhondt made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dacian Ghițescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 82 minutes into the match, FC Draconia's goal looked a bit too open when Radu Cigu came free, but Billie Serneels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Codruț Macaneață hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Freddy Olemans sped through PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dacian Ghițescu. Dacian Ghițescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willem Goons, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Freddy Olemans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Draconia had won after a very even match.
