When Lars Schubert came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the FC Lëtzebuerg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Schubert couldn't finish the play. In the 17th minute, Bogumil Marchefka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wawrzyniec Pozorski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Ludwick in the 20th minute of play. Jurand Hyska took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Terry Kieffer. Terry Kieffer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Lëtzebuerg the free kick. In the 31st match minute, RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wlodzimierz Plaski to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute Jurand Hyska shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Terry Kieffer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 minutes of play, FC Lëtzebuerg's Luca Ludwick made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wawrzyniec Pozorski was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Jurand Hyska made the kick off in the second half. During the 51st minute of the match Bogumil Marchefka completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bogumil Marchefka a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA's Bogumil Marchefka got a free kick in the 51st minute. A collision led to RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Jurand Hyska hit a great ball. RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA's Wawrzyniec Pozorski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA from getting a goal against them. A collision led to FC Lëtzebuerg getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Manuel Ferrara hit a great ball. Wawrzyniec Pozorski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luca Ludwick's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. 66 minutes into the match, RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA's goal looked a bit too open when Nacho Vidal came free, but Wawrzyniec Pozorski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michael Bismarck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Wawrzyniec Pozorski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Luca Ludwick took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Wawrzyniec Pozorski to make any attempt to save it. After 89 played minutes RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA got a freekick which was hit by Cezary Dabrowski. When Gerry Taube was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. In the 92nd match minute, FC Lëtzebuerg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerry Taube to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC Lëtzebuerg booed when RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jurand Hyska didn't get a good kick on the ball. RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA's Wawrzyniec Pozorski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Ludwick in the 94th minute of play.
