An unexpectedly hard shot by Algot Månsson in the 8th minute of play forced ⒻC SⓌAG's goalkeeper Kent Valler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 0-1 became the score in the 14th minute when Algot Månsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Kent Valler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Täman, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Ingvar Täman notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of ⒻC SⓌAG's Kent Valler. Kent Valler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 21 minutes into the game, Ingvar Täman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Kent Valler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ingvar Täman scored 0-4 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kent Valler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Algot Månsson in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kent Valler saved ⒻC SⓌAG from getting behind. Kent Valler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Algot Månsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Ingvar Täman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 43 played minutes AC United got a freekick which was hit by Algot Månsson. 45 minutes in the game Timmy Johnsson did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sten Broman. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Algot Månsson made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in ⒻC SⓌAG's zone, Algot Månsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kent Valler came out of the goal and Algot Månsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 65 played minutes ⒻC SⓌAG got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Norberg. AC United's Ingvar Täman was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 66th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 76th match minute, ⒻC SⓌAG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johannes Wahlnäs to maneuver through the defense. ⒻC SⓌAG's Kent Valler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Täman in the 79th minute of play. AC United's Algot Månsson got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ingvar Täman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kent Valler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Täman in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of ⒻC SⓌAG booed when AC United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sverker Nässén didn't get a good kick on the ball. 97 minutes into the match, ⒻC SⓌAG's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Täman came free, but Kent Valler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
