Rareș Trifu's late challenge caught a FC Lëtzebuerg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After the first half FC Lëtzebuerg were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Bismarck got free with Emil Iovulescu in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Terry Kieffer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Răzvan Vlăsiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emil Iovulescu came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Lëtzebuerg's Michael Bismarck. But to his dismay, Michael Bismarck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Ludwick in the 66th minute of play forced Satyricon Black's goalkeeper Emil Iovulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th match minute, Satyricon Black was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horia Holban to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Satyricon Black getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Rareș Trifu hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute, Luca Ludwick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adam Ciocâltea hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Michael Bismarck made a precise shot to the right of Emil Iovulescu. Satyricon Black's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. When the final whistle sounded FC Lëtzebuerg left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Satyricon Black.
