After 19 played minutes Minerul Baita -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Giorgio Chiellini. When Maksymilian Bulkiewicz came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Minerul Baita -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maksymilian Bulkiewicz couldn't finish the play. Maksymilian Bulkiewicz in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tommy Kahn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ciprian Alexe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. Allan Shearer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Gheorghe Birișu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Nistor Maghiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 66th minute of play. A hard shot 69 in the game by Frank Sachs from a close distance when the talented Nistor Maghiar managed to make a qualified save. Minerul Baita -MM-'s players were relieved. After 73 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. 74 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Shearer came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Germany booed when Minerul Baita -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giorgio Chiellini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albin Holweck succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 83rd playminute. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Albino Claude was substituted for Gordon Miner. Ciprian Alexe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Germany supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Germany would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
