Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off which started today's match. The corner led Netherlands's Lars Meesters to fire away a dangerous shot which Roch Roman despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 14 minutes, Lars Meesters made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Galácticos del Pueblo's Roch Roman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murillo Cano, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Merih Bengi took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Arnout Reekers to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roch Roman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Merih Bengi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. The supporters of Galácticos del Pueblo booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Eikelkamp didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murillo Cano in the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roch Roman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 54th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Galácticos del Pueblo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Gijsbert ter Kruimer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roch Roman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Murillo Cano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Galácticos del Pueblo's goalkeeper Roch Roman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wim Wilmes. Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murillo Cano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Ferman in the 78th minute of play. Roch Roman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 81st minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Roch Roman made a huge save. After having played for 87 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Galácticos del Pueblo made a substitution. Maximiliano Perrando replaced Murillo Cano. Galácticos del Pueblo's Roch Roman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Galácticos del Pueblo from getting a goal against them. Netherlands were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
