Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Arne Back made the kick off and thus started the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mountainhammer United's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roar Klev came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roar Klev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Roar Klev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 minutes of play, Hungary's Major Barna made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roar Klev was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Takacs Tibor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 28 minutes, Roger Eriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mountainhammer United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roger Eriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roar Klev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Major Barna hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Mountainhammer United's Arne Back got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roar Klev having to interfere. Ludomil Bucyki's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ludomil Bucyki helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hungary booed when Mountainhammer United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludomil Bucyki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roar Klev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a little luck, Mountainhammer United's Roar Klev got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Björck in the 52nd minute of play. Mountainhammer United were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Hungary's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bo Björck took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Back in the 57th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Arne Back managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mountainhammer United's supporters rose to their feet, but Arne Back was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Major Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roar Klev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute, Major Barna made a precise shot to the right of Roar Klev. Mountainhammer United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The supporters of Hungary booed when Mountainhammer United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Back didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Hegedus Henrik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
