Radoslaw Solibieda hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bart Zomerhuis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Wim Wilmes made a precise shot to the right of Braulio Gartxot. Red Devils's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Braulio Gartxot was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wim Wilmes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 57 minute of play. Braulio Gartxot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bart Zomerhuis, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Red Devils's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. In the 91st match minute, Red Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tanek Szel to maneuver through the defense. After 92 played minutes Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Red Devils's Braulio Gartxot to catch but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was lucky. It became 2-4 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Marcel da Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. The Red Devils fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
