The crowd rose to their feet as Puerto de Sagunto CF's Richmond Van Glabeeke slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Kahn. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. In the 18th minute of the match Puerto de Sagunto CF got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edu Gaspar ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco José Millán went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Francisco José Millán could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richmond Van Glabeeke in the 29th minute of the match. Gong Yong Nan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 31st minute of play. Puerto de Sagunto CF's Gong Yong Nan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 33rd minute of play. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richmond Van Glabeeke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rdth minute of the game Francisco José Millán who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 44 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richmond Van Glabeeke made a kick off. In the 76th minute, one of Germany:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Germany. After 81 minutes, Richmond Van Glabeeke made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Germany's Tommy Kahn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 84 minutes into the match, Puerto de Sagunto CF's Francisco José Millán sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tommy Kahn didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Puerto de Sagunto CF's Richmond Van Glabeeke shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 7-0 in the ordered_time% minute. If Doroteo Astudillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
