Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Zaccheo Andolina made the kick off and thus started the match. Vítor Baia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute Italy were awarded a corner. Sigfrido Auletta went to the cornerflag to take it. Italy's Sigfrido Auletta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vítor Baia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Guido Vissenaeken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Vissenaeken, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Flavio Vittori made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Guido Vissenaeken sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Italy's Deodato Magliozzi got a free kick in the 14th minute. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Vissenaeken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Will Deman kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Vítor Baia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Italy's Zaccheo Andolina got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Siricio Liotta hit a great ball. Brugge United's Waud Huijbrechts was substituted for Jaspar Van Den Broeck. Siricio Liotta hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Vítor Baia was a little too slow when Zaccheo Andolina got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 61st minute, Brugge United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Porziano Marchitelli fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Vítor Baia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siricio Liotta, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After 72 minutes of play, Brugge United's Guido Vissenaeken made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Vittori was left in no man's land by his defense there! 82 minutes into the match, Brugge United's Guido Vissenaeken sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Vittori narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guido Vissenaeken blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Vittori having to make a save. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Vissenaeken in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vítor Baia. Brugge United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zaccheo Andolina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brugge United's goalkeeper Vítor Baia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brugge United succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Italy had controlled the match.
