Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romeo Toli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. If Joel Macias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Macias in the 22nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shen Xun got free with Casper Claes in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Shen Xun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Casper Claes made a huge save. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Diego Eterno's Romeo Toli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 25th minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romeo Toli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th minute Shen Xun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeo Toli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 48th minute of play. The Diego Eterno players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Belgium were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edward Vanderstraeten made a kick off. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romeo Toli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romeo Toli. Romeo Toli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Diego Eterno's Genaro Isadore was substituted for Wei Liang Qian. In the 66th match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nigel Devos to maneuver through the defense. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Goodman in the 67th minute of the match. The supporters of Diego Eterno booed when Belgium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yves Dervaux didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romeo Toli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romeo Toli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 81st minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Toli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Romeo Toli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Romeo Toli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Edward Vanderstraeten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgium fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The Diego Eterno fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Belgium were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
