Constantijn van Eycken didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sreten Popovic went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Serbia getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Vladeta Jovic hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, SK Gullegem's goal looked a bit too open when Sreten Popovic came free, but Constantijn van Eycken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Michel Schooters kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. That made the score 1-1 in the 11 minute of play. Henry De Vleeschauwere lost his temper 14 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 15th minute, Henry De Vleeschauwere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SK Gullegem's Constantijn van Eycken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sreten Popovic in the 18th minute of play. With a little luck, Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic got control of the ball when Bernt Artois tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sreten Popovic kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. If Bernt Artois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SK Gullegem's Bernt Artois suffered a concussion in the 24th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jovan Borisov during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Serbia getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Jovan Borisov hit a great ball. When Christopher Frans fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK Gullegem's protests and gave Christopher Frans a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th minute, Christopher Frans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 played minutes SK Gullegem got a freekick which was hit by Quillian de Wolf. If Stefaan Van Hoyveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made an important save on a dangerous shot by Freek Van Hoyvelt in the 40th minute. Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Serbia from getting a goal against them. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made an important save on a dangerous shot by Quillian de Wolf in the 43rd minute. Quillian de Wolf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Freek Van Hoyvelt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made a huge save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

53 minutes in the game Stefaan Van Hoyveldt did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Edmond Walder. Freek Van Hoyvelt hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quillian de Wolf in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sreten Popovic in the 62nd minute of play forced SK Gullegem's goalkeeper Constantijn van Eycken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Quillian de Wolf came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the SK Gullegem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quillian de Wolf couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Serbia's Borjan Golubovic got a free kick in the 65th minute. The supporters of SK Gullegem booed when Serbia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Momir Gisic didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quillian de Wolf in the 69th minute of play. SK Gullegem's Stefaan Van Hoyveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 77 minutes, Borjan Golubovic managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Serbia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Borjan Golubovic was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When SK Gullegem's Quillian de Wolf in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freek Van Hoyvelt in the 82nd minute of play forced Serbia's goalkeeper Zvezdan Nedeljkovic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Constantijn van Eycken was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Borjan Golubovic showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 85 minute of play. SK Gullegem's attentive Freek Van Hoyvelt managed to snatch the ball when Miljan Gavrilovic made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. 95 minutes into the game, Miljan Gavrilovic threw the ball into play from the sideline. SK Gullegem's Giovanni Van Haght quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Serbia were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over SK Gullegem's much stronger midfield.
