Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Newcastle United's Pankracy Malicki started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pankracy Malicki went, in the 2nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 8th match minute, Newcastle United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Obuchowicz to maneuver through the defense. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Mikolaj Jerzyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pankracy Malicki in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arnout Reekers, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pankracy Malicki. Mikolaj Jerzyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 19th minute of the match. Tadeusz Pstrongowski kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Newcastle United defense, Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mikolaj Jerzyk. The Newcastle United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mikolaj Jerzyk should have stopped the shot. Gijsbert ter Kruimer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mikolaj Jerzyk having to make a save. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kajetan Kochniarczyk went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kajetan Kochniarczyk in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Donato Christobal hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pankracy Malicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert ter Kruimer to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mikolaj Jerzyk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Newcastle United's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Wim Wilmes 52 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-2. Mikolaj Jerzyk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 56th minute. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Newcastle United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. When Kajetan Kochniarczyk came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Newcastle United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kajetan Kochniarczyk couldn't finish the play. Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Newcastle United from getting a goal against them. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mikolaj Jerzyk quite easily take care of the ball. In the 75th minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mikolaj Jerzyk was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's David Eikelkamp got a free kick in the 77th minute. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kajetan Kochniarczyk in the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pankracy Malicki in the 87th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Pacholewski in the 93rd minute of the match. Netherlands's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
