A collision led to Switzerland getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Jacinto Maurer hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, Switzerland's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Barros Schelloto came free, but Hias Nüssli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hias Nüssli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matias Barros Schelloto's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Matias Barros Schelloto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gheorghe Buta's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Hias Nüssli skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 28 minutes into the match, Gheorghe Buta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hias Nüssli. Switzerland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gheorghe Buta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 34th minute of the match, Matias Barros Schelloto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hias Nüssli saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of F.C.DrobetA-Știința- booed when Switzerland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustav Iseli didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Gheorghe Buta dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hias Nüssli, 3-0. Hias Nüssli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Barros Schelloto in the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gheorghe Buta in the 58th minute of play forced Switzerland's goalkeeper Hias Nüssli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gheorghe Buta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 67 played minutes F.C.DrobetA-Știința- got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Cristofol. Leo Allemann kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Matias Barros Schelloto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
