In the 16th match minute, Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Seidler to maneuver through the defense. Yang Feng Guang blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabio Auer having to make a save. Austria's Fabio Auer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Austria from getting a goal against them. Yang Feng Guang might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Auer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yang Feng Guang ran back to his position shaking his head. Benigno Dunixi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yang Feng Guang in the 32nd minute of play forced Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Leonhard Maier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fabio Auer made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Yang Feng Guang sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sandro Galishoff stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. İrfan-Can Kahveci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Auer having to interfere. The AbraXas fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when AbraXas's İrfan-Can Kahveci looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Austria defense, İrfan-Can Kahveci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Auer. The Austria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Auer should have stopped the shot. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th match minute, Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Seidler to maneuver through the defense. Emil Seidler hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Austria's Fabio Auer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İrfan-Can Kahveci in the 73rd minute of play.
