The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldo Messi got free with Sixto Luke in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Pilar FC's Guus Koole got a free kick in the 70th minute. America De Cali's Wal Drapák was substituted for Ronaldo Messi. Aukusti Malinen hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. America De Cali's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
